Rick Richter

Rick Richter grew up on a small dairy farm near Maxwell in Northern California. He continues to live, with his wife Brenda, on property that has been in his family for four generations.

After attending local schools, he began working toward a B. S. degree in General Agriculture from Chico State University; while attending college, he began to pursue his lifelong dream of flying. Upon graduation from Chico State in 1975, he became employed at a local crop dusting business that was managed by his cousin and was soon focused on making agricultural aviation his career choice.

Barry Joe Wilson

Barry Joe Wilson has been the owner/operator of Wil-Co Flying Service of DeWitt, Arkansas, since 1994. He operates an AT-802 and two AT-602s in Southeast Arkansas with rice as his main crop along with soybeans and wheat.  Barry Joe grew up on a family farm watching and flagging for ag airplanes and knew at a young age that’s what he wanted to do.

Barry Joe is blessed with a great family—wife Lori, a counselor at DeWitt Public Schools, and two sons, Koby, a sophomore at U of A Monticello, and Braden, a 12-year-old middle school student.

Douglas E. Thiel

Doug Thiel is the owner and operator of Thiel Air Care, Inc. located in Chowchilla, California. Doug flew his first ag aircraft in 1977 while in college but didn’t start flying full time until 1982. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Ag Business from Fresno State University.  He worked five seasons in the Texas Panhandle before moving home to the San Joaquin Valley in California. He became a partner in a four turbine aircraft company in the early nineties.

Craig Bair

Craig Bair is a third generation Aerial Applicator from South Dakota. He grew up in the business, flagging and loading aircraft since the age of ten.
