CEU Information

NAAA Ag Aviation Expo
December 4–7, 2017 ♦ Savannah, GA 

Each year NAAA submits information about its Aerial Application Technology Research Session presentations to the Executive Director/Secretary of each state/regional agricultural aviation association. They in turn must provide this information to their respective state licensing bodies and let us know what parts of the NAAA Convention will be allowed CEUs.

Alabama
NAAA convention approved for: 10 credits in Animal Pest Control (Category AA). 

Arizona
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 credits. 

California 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 1.5 hours in category A- aerial pest control equipment and application techniques. 

Colorado
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 1 environmental protection credit and 1 use of pesticides credit.
NAAREF Safety Session Approved for: 1 applicator safety credit and 1 public safety credit .

Connecticut 
Since the NAAA convention is taking place in Georgia, Connecticut applicators in attendance will receive equivalent Connecticut pesticide CEUs based on Georgia approval. Georgia has approved the convention for the following categories: Agriculture Plant: 6 credits; Forest Pest Control: 6 credits; Aquatic Pest Control: 8 credits; Right of Way: 6 credits; Mosquito Control: 6 credits. You must attend each day of the convention to receive credit. 

Delaware
Mon. Dec. 4 approved for: PA- core or private applicator: 2 credits; 1A- ag plant: 2 credits; 
Tues. Dec. 5 approved for: PA- core or private applicator: 1 credit; 1A- ag plant: 1 credit;
Wed. Dec. 6 approved for: PA- core or private applicator: 2 credits; 1A- ag plant: 2 credits; 

Florida 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session Approved for: 2 CEUs- aerial application category. 

Georgia
NAAA Convention approved for: Category 21: 6 credits. Category 23: 6 credits. Category 26: 6 credits. Category 27: 6 credits. Category 41: 6 credits. 
* You must attend Convention from Dec. 5 to Dec. 8 to receive all training credits for Georgia. If you do not attend each day, you may receive fewer or zero credits.

Idaho 
FAA/ Security Session approved for: 1 credit 
Low-Level Session approved for: 1 credit 
Note: If an applicator attends both the FAA/ Security and Low-Level Sessions, Idaho will add an extra half credit to each session for 3 credits total. 

Indiana 
Maximum credits available: category 1: 5; category 11: 10; RT: 4. Click here to see the number of credits approved for each session. 

Kansas 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 hours in 1A, Agriculture Plant category. 

Kentucky
Mon. Dec. 4 approved for: general: 3 hours; 1 hour in categories: 1A, 10, 11, 12.
Tues. Dec. 5 approved for: general: 3 hours; 1 hour in categories 1A, 10, 11, 12.
Wed. Dec. 6 approved for: general: 3 hours; 1 hour in categories 1A, 10, 11, 12.
Thurs. Dec. 7 approved for: general: 3 hours; 1 hour in categories 1A, 10, 11, 12.  

Louisiana
NAAA Convention approved for: in General Standards (GS), Agricultural Pest Control (1), Demonstration & Research (10) and Aerial Pesticide Applicator (11).  Participants must attend at least 7 hours of instruction to receive recertification credit.

Maine
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 11 credits 
Chemical Educational Session approved for: 2 credits
Transland Breakfast and Seminar approved for: 1 credit

Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: area 10 (demonstration & research): 4 units; area 11 (aerial): 4 units; CORE: 1 unit. 

North Carolina
NAAA Convention Approved for: 1 credit in each of the following categories: A, B, D, G, H, I, K, M, N, O, X.  

Ohio
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 hours in commercial category 1. 
Chemical Session approved for: 1.5 hours in commercial category 1. 
NAAREF Safety Session approved for: 1 hour in commercial core category. 

Oklahoma 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 CEUs in both categories A and 10. 

Pennsylvania
Aerial Application Research Technology Session approved for: 4 credits in category 25 (aerial application).

South Carolina 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 Core credits. 
Tues. Dec. 5, approved for: 1 Core credit.
Wed. Dec. 6 approved for: 1.5 Core credits. 

South Dakota 
NAAA Convention Approved for: categories G, 1A, 1B, 1C.

Texas 
NAAA convention approved for: 2 Human Safety Factors CEUs and 14 General CEUs. 
 
Utah
Utah does not approve any out-of-state events for CEUs, but will accept CEUs awarded by another state. Please e-mail Frank Taylor, at ftaylor@agaviation.org if you want to receive CEUs for Utah.

Vermont
NAAA convention approved for: 4 credits, category 10; 4 credits, category 11; 

West Virginia 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for 4 credits in each of the following categories: 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 13D, 13E.
