S.A.F.E. Analyst Training & Qualifications
Certification & Recertification Requirements
Attend and successfully complete a NAAA/NAAREF-approved analyst training
course, or existing analysts may present individuals capable of becoming
analysts to NAAA/NAAREF. Initial certification period will end on the
31st day of December of the 3rd year from the date of completion and
shall be renewed every three years on the following conditions:
A.
Once every three years a certified analyst must complete at least three
of the following:
1. Attend an NAAA Convention
2. Attend a PAASS educational program
3. Attend a State/Regional AAA Convention
4. Attend a national ASAE/ASTM Pesticide Application Meeting
B.
At least twice in the three-year period an analyst must conduct or participate
in an Operation S.A.F.E. Fly-In and make 5 aircraft calibrations.
C.
The analyst shall provide written documentation to NAAA/NAAREF of completion
of items (A) and (B) prior to expiration of certification/recertification.
D.
Each analyst will maintain currency through literature and professional
interaction.
