Aviation and Transportation Policy

NAAA is involved in several transportation issues. This includes working to prevent low-level obstacles, whether they be towers or unmanned aircraft systems, from jeopardizing the flight safety of manned ag aircraft and/or hindering their access to arable farm land, to trying to update the Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to agricultural aviation to consider the modernized aerial application industry. The last time the Federal Aviation Regulations for ag aviation were modernized was in 1966.
