2018 CEU Information

NAAA Ag Aviation Expo
December 3–6, 2018 ♦ Reno, NV 

Each year NAAA submits information about its Aerial Application Technology Research Session presentations to the Executive Director/Secretary of each state/regional agricultural aviation association. They in turn must provide this information to their respective state licensing bodies and let us know what parts of the NAAA Ag Aviation Expo will be allowed CEUs.

Certified Crop Advisors: 
Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 Professional Development CEUs
ASU NVG Night Operations Safety Session approved for: 1.5 Professional Development CEUs
USDA Aerial Image Processing Workshop approved for: 2 Professional Development CEUs
Low-Level Obstacles Session: approved for: 2 Professional Development CEUs

Alabama: NAAA Ag Aviation Expo approved for: 10 credits – Category: AIR.

California: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 1.5 hours in category (A) Aerial Pest Control Equipment and Application Techniques.

Colorado: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 1 Environmental Protection credit and 1 Use of Pesticides credit.

Connecticut: The state of Connecticut provides the equivalent number of CEUs awarded by the host state. Nevada has awarded the Aerial Application Technology Research Session 2 General CEUs.

Delaware: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: PA- Core or private applicator: 2 credits; A1- Ag Planet: 2 credits.
AgNav Session approved for: PA- Core or private applicator: 2 credits; A1- Ag Planet: 2 credits.
Helicopter Session approved for: PA- Core or private applicator: 2 credits; A1- Ag Planet: 2 credits.

Florida: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 aerial application credits.
Chem-Man or AG-NAV session approved for: 1.5 aerial application credits.

Indiana: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 credits – Category 11; 2 credits – Category RT
Ag-Nav or Chem-Man session approved for: 1.5 credits – Category 11; 1.5 credits – Category RT
Low-Level Obstacle Session approved for: 1.5 credits – Category 11; 1.5 credits – Category RT

Louisiana: NAAA Ag Aviation Expo approved for: recertification of Louisiana Commercial Pesticide Applicators holding certification in General Standards (GS), Agricultural Pest Control (1) and  Aerial Pesticide Applicators (11).

Maryland: Aerial Application Technoloy Research Session approved for: 4 credits - Category 13 (aerial); ASU NVG Night Operations Safety Course approved for: 3 credits - Category 13 (aerial). 

Massachusetts: Aerial Application Technology Research Session (2 credits, cat 34, L)
USDA Aerial imaging workshop (2 credits, cat 34, L)
ASU NVG Night Operations Safety Session (1.5 credits, cat 34, L)

Maine: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 12 credits. 

Montana: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 credits - Category 21 (aerial).

Nevada: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 General CEU’s. 

New Hampshire: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 credits.

South Dakota: NAAA Ag Aviation Expo is approved for: G – General (core); 1A – Herbicides on Ag Land; 1B – Insecticides on Ag Land; 1C – Fungicides on Ag Land. Note: Applicators must sign-in and sign-in out on Monday, Dec. 3 to receive credit. 

Texas: NAAA Ag Aviation Expo approved for: 1 drift mitigation CEU and 6 general CEUs.

Utah: Utah does not approve CEUs for events taking place outside the state, but will accept credits granted by other states. Applicators from Utah should email Frank Taylor to find out how to properly document their attendance at the Ag Aviation Expo to earn credits from Utah. 

Vermont: Aerial Application Technology Research Session approved for: 2 credits in Category 10 (Demonstration, Research and Sales) and 2 credits in Category 11 (Aerial)
