NAAA respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its website. Most data NAAA collects is used only to help NAAA better serve its members. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. From General Users: NAAA does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Users on the public areas of NAAA’s website browse anonymously. Only aggregate data—such as the number of hits per page—are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.

From NAAA Members, Conference Registrants, and Other Customers: To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the NAAA website, members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited information. This data is submitted voluntarily. NAAA may ask users to provide their name, organization name, preferred address and phone number, and email address. Similar information may be submitted to NAAA through new member applications and renewals, conference registration, publication subscriptions and other purchases.

Disclosures to Third Parties: NAAA makes member contact information available through the NAAA Membership Directory to other members using its website. NAAA also makes conference registrant contact information available to exhibiting companies. On occasion, NAAA may also provide limited data to third parties that offer products and services that are deemed relevant to NAAA members. These limited data include contact information. These third-party companies must be NAAA members.

Consent to Use Personal Information: For the purposes of the Data Protection Act(s) 1984 and 1998 (as applicable), NAAA or its agents must store, host and otherwise process the information (including personal data) supplied by the User when registering for this website. User supplies as defined above when registering for the website in order to allow NAAA (or its designated agents) to use the information to send the User unsolicited direct mail advertisements, promotions and solicitations for third parties’ products and services.

Credit Card Account Information: NAAA uses Sage and/or Authorize.net for credit card processing. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
