Air Tractor Returns to 2026 Farm Progress Show, Operators and Pilots Welcome!

Air Tractor will once again have a presence at the Farm Progress Show, returning for the third consecutive year September 1–3 in Boone, Iowa. The annual event is one of the nation’s largest agricultural trade shows, bringing together farmers and exhibitors from across the U.S. and around the world. Attendance typically ranges from 150,000 to 200,000 people.
Chris Lockhart, Sales Coordinator at Air Tractor, said the company is excited to participate again. While Air Tractor’s booth will feature its aircraft and equipment, Lockhart said the company also sees the show as an opportunity to promote aerial application and help attendees better understand the industry’s role in agriculture. Operators are encouraged to visit the booth and talk with attendees about the benefits of aerial application. “We’re looking forward to another great experience,” Lockhart said.
An AT-802 equipped with Capstan SwathPro booms will be on display. The booth will also feature a cover crop application experience by NAAA allied member Joe Curless of Farm Air, Inc. in Astoria, Illinois. His display will have video and field trial results to highlight the value of aerial-applied cover crops.
Approximately 4,000 people visited Air Tractor’s booth during the three-day Farm Progress Show in 2025. The company hopes to build on that strong turnout and continue raising awareness of aerial application at this year’s event.
