July is Ag Aviation’s Busiest Month for Hours and Accidents, Brush Up on Your Fly Safe Messages

July is typically the busiest month of the season for agricultural aviators as pest pressure peaks and demand for aerial applications intensifies across the country. Unfortunately, it has also historically recorded the highest number of agricultural aviation accidents. As of June 24, 2026, nine agricultural aviation accidents have been reported this year, including two fatal accidents.
