The FAA has proposed to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain MD Helicopters, LLC (MDHI) Model 369D, 369E, 369F, 369FF, 369H, and 500N helicopters.
The FAA has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) that would replace the Inspection Authorization (IA) with a new Inspection Rating (IR) on the mechanic certificate, placing it alongside the airframe and powerplant (A&P) ratings.
