2027 NAAA Membership Renewal Now Open
Your business depends on the freedom to operate. NAAA works every day to protect it. For 60 years, NAAA members have understood a simple truth: an industry that doesn’t speak for itself will eventually have someone else speaking for it. A single aerial applicator may have limited influence in Washington. More than 1,500 members speaking with one voice is a different story. Renew your membership today by logging into your account and paying the membership invoice.
Several of NAAA’s accomplishments this year, on your behalf and to ensure your success, include:
- Protecting your airspace: NAAA continues to press the FAA to ensure manned agricultural aircraft retain the right-of-way they need to operate safely as drone operations expand, including beyond visual line-of-sight operations.
- Protecting access to crop protection tools: Since 2017, NAAA has submitted more than 300 comments to EPA (covering 240 pesticides) defending aerial uses of pesticides and working to prevent unnecessary restrictions that could limit the tools available to aerial applicators.
- Protecting uniform pesticide labels: NAAA joined other associations in urging the Supreme Court to uphold EPA’s authority to determine pesticide labeling requirements. They ruled in favor of Bayer (Monsanto), and the Court’s decision ensures ag pilots can rely on uniform, science-based labels regardless of the state where they operate.
- Advancing professionalism: NAAA restructured its professional certification program and relaunched it as Certified Aerial Applicator (CAA). More details to come this Fall.
- Member insurance options: NAAA offers members access to health insurance options. Click here for more details.
- In 2027, your NAAA membership will continue to provide valuable benefits that support your business and that have protected the industry for 60 years. Benefits that you receive for your membership include discounts for attending or exhibiting at the Ag Aviation Expo; one-hour consultation with an attorney; access to the online NAAA Membership Directory (must be logged in); and staying informed through our eNewsletters and NAAA 365 App.
Every year, decisions are made in Washington that affect your ability to operate – from pesticide regulations and drone operations to taxes, tariffs and aviation policy. NAAA’s job is to make sure agricultural aviation has a seat at the table when those decisions are made.
