Jack Frost, Longtime Air Tractor Dealer, Passes Away
NAAA is saddened to share the news of the passing of longtime Air Tractor dealer Jack Frost, a pioneer in agricultural aviation.

Jack Frost founded Frost Flying, Inc. in 1972 in Marianna, Arkansas, establishing it as a premier aerial application and agricultural aviation business. Jack began operating Air Tractor aircraft in 1978 and later became a dealer for turbine-powered Air Tractor planes in 1995, deeply influencing agricultural aviation through his commitment to innovation, performance and service.
Over his decades of leadership, Jack built a reputation for professionalism and dedication that extended far beyond his own operation. His passion for the industry helped inspire those who worked alongside him.
Today, his legacy continues through his son, Garrett Frost, who carries forward the family tradition and commitment to excellence at Frost Flying.
Jack received the NAAA Agrinaut Award in 2006, which is presented to an agricultural aircraft operator, operating organization or allied member company that has made an outstanding contribution in the field of ag aircraft operations.
Jack left a lasting mark on agricultural aviation and will be remembered fondly by colleagues, customers and friends across the industry. He will be greatly missed. As of the writing of this, an obituary has not yet been released.
