NAAA Announces Leadership Transition

Andrew D. Moore has left his position as NAAA’s Chief Executive Officer.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank Andrew for twenty-nine years of dedication, contributions, and leadership during his tenure,” said NAAA Board President Matt Woolard. “We appreciate his commitment to NAAA, NAAREF, and the aerial application industry and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”

During his time as CEO, Moore had many successes, including leading the organization’s efforts to help return agricultural aircraft to service after the September 11th attacks, securing the federal aviation fuel tax exemption, ensuring aerial application research funding is included in legislation, and working to build the reserves and financial health of NAAA, just to name a few.

The dedicated NAAA staff, together with the contracted support of Jay Vroom and the staff of DCLRS, as well as lobbyist Glenn LeMunyon of the LeMunyon Group, will remain focused on advancing the mission and ongoing efforts of NAAA during this transition period. This crew will provide leadership experience and commitment to help ensure continuity and continued support for our members and industry partners.

The NAAA Officer team will soon initiate a search for the association’s next Executive Director. “NAAA’s focus remains on serving our members, supporting our staff, and continuing to advance our mission and goals,” added Woolard. “We are confident in the strength of our staff and the path ahead for the Association.”
