NAAA Supports EPA Action Advancing New Pesticide Registrations
NAAA joined CropLife America and other agricultural organizations in supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recent action to advance several new pesticide registrations, providing farmers with access to additional crop protection tools.

The registrations, announced by EPA and published in the June 30, 2026 Federal Register, reflect the agency’s continued use of a rigorous, science-based review process to evaluate new pesticide products. Timely registration decisions help ensure growers have access to innovative technologies that protect crops from weeds, insects and diseases while providing greater certainty as they make important planning and investment decisions.
As production challenges continue to evolve, access to new crop protection technologies is critical to maintaining crop yields, improving productivity and supporting an abundant, affordable and nutritious food supply. Science-based regulatory decisions also help strengthen American agriculture, support rural communities and enhance the global competitiveness of U.S. farmers.
NAAA remains committed to advocating for policies that preserve aerial application and the crop protection tools that aerial applications rely on for their farmer and grower customers. The association will continue working with federal agencies, industry partners and agricultural stakeholders to promote science-based pesticide regulation and timely registration decisions that benefit aerial applicators.
