Since 1995, NAAA, in partnership with Syngenta Crop Protection, has offered the Leadership Training Program (LTP) to develop leaders within the aerial application industry. Over the past 30 classes, nearly 400 NAAA members have graduated from the program. Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 program. The deadline to apply is July 17, 2026.
Last week, NAAA issued a press release to multiple and widely circulated agricultural media outlets throughout the U.S., announcing that the Aerial Application Association of Australia (AAAA) has pledged resources towards the effort to modernize AGDISP (Agricultural DISpersion) the pesticide-drift model software.
They are all pesticide active ingredients that faced complete or partial bans for aerial applications. The ability to continue to apply these products by aerial application was the result of efforts by NAAA. NAAA didn’t use special tactics or hire expensive lobbyists to accomplish this – we used industry data to show the economic importance and safety of aerial applications.
The NAAA hotel room block is now open for the 2026 Ag Aviation Expo in Savannah. Convention events will take place at the Savannah Convention Center, with a few at the Westin, next door to the center.
The Federal Aviation Administration’s annual General Aviation and Part 135 Activity Survey (GA Survey) is now underway, reporting on calendar year 2025. The GA Survey is the only source of information on the general aviation fleet and the number of hours flown.
